The incident occured when a 19 year-old female was exiting a Spots Party Bus. Police were initially called to a drive-by shooting report near Central and Nims when the party bus was dropping off passengers and a 16 year-old suspect fired several gunshots at the bus, striking the victim.

As a result of the investigation, a sixteen year-old male was arrested and charged with criminal discharge of a firearm into an occupied vehicle and juvenile in possession of a firearm. A 17 year-old male was charged with carrying a concealed firearm, and an 18 year-old male was charged with a felon in possession of a firearm.

Another vehicle was struck, but no one was injured. The woman was treated and released from a hospital. Police say this was not a random incident.
