An aggravated assault occurred in the east part Wichita at Central & Rock; it happened about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday.
A male suspect tried to push a cart of groceries out of the store without paying; the suspect was stopped at the door by a 20-year-old male employee working security. The suspect left the store, but shortly returned, pulled out a gun from his waistband, and pointed it at the security guard.
The man with the gun then ran away; he had tattoos on his neck, calves, and tattoo-sleeves on both arms.
