Anniversary of killer twister

ANDOVER, Kan. (KNSS) - On this date 26 years ago a huge tornado devastated parts of Wichita and Andover. April 26th, 1991, the deadliest of 55 tornadoes to occur that day, the F-5 twister took a track 46 miles long and reached one half mile wide. It killed 17, injured 225, and caused an estimated $300 million damage of which $62 million occurred at McConnell Air Force Base. Of the 17 deaths, 13 occurred at the Golden Spur Mobile Home Park in Andover.
