WICHITA, Kan. (KNSS) - For the second day in a row, a drive-by shooting in Wichita sprays a house with bullets, with children sleeping inside the home.

Police Sgt. Nikki Woodrow says the most recent case happened at 5:00 a.m. Friday in the north part of Wichita, where somebody shot several bullets at a residence in the 2200 block of N. Minneapolis.

In the house at the time were a man and woman, and four children asleep in a bedroom: a seven-year-old, a three-year-old, a two-year-old, and a one-year-old.

Multiple bullets hit the house, and one bullet came through the window into the bedroom where the kids were sleeping.

24 hours earlier, there had been another drive-by shooting with children inside a house; that was near 8th & Grove.
