ATHENS, Greece (AP) — Greek state TV says a passenger plane flying from Egypt to Germany with 250 passengers on board has made an unscheduled landing on the island of Crete after reporting a potential bomb threat.
ERT TV said the German plane landed safely at the Souda military airport and all passengers and crew were evacuated without incident.
It said bomb disposal experts and police sniffer dogs were investigating the aircraft Thursday.
