Arrest made in Wichita bank robbery

Suspect was quickly caught

A Wichita bank was robbed Monday afternoon and the suspect was quickly caught, according to the FBI.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation said in an email Monday afternoon the Emprise Bank in the 200 block of N. Broadway was robbed around 3:00 p.m. The Bureau said the robber was a lone man who made off with an unknown amount of cash. No weapon was displayed during the robbery.

The FBI said an individual matching the suspect's description was taken into custody without incident within close proximity to the bank by a bank security officer.
