For the seventh straight year, the Wichita Wingnuts baseball team has clinched a division title.

Wichita beat the St. Paul Saints 8-3 in Minnesota on Tuesday night in front of more than 8,000 fans.

With the win, the Wingnuts clinched the championship of the American Association's South Division, becoming the first team in the league to qualify for the playoffs; there are 12 games remaining in the regular season. Postseason play begins in two weeks.

The Wingnuts have won division titles eight times in their 10-year history.
