Boeing is forecasting a 15 trillion-dollar commercial airplanes and services market.
20-year outlook projects rising demand for nearly 43-thousand new airplanes, valued at 6.3 trillion dolars. The global airplane fleet will also sustain growing demand for commercial aviation services, leading to a total market opportunity of $15 trillion. The company's annual forecast ... renamed the Commercial Market Outlook (C-M-O) to include detailed analysis of the dynamic aviation services market ... was presented today at the Farnborough International Airshow in London. The forecast is important news for Wichita's avaition manufacturing and service industry.
