Broadway Corridor Project nabs several people in most recent sting

Despite conducting twelve separate trafficking stings since August, the Wichita police managed to arrest another twelve people this week for prostitution and sex trafficking along the Broadway corridor.

Wichita police say that four people were arrested on Wednesday. Three of those arrests were women selling sex. On Thursday, seven men were arrested for attempting to buy sex, and another was arrested for attempting to promote prostitution.

Since the police department stepped up its sting operations, a total of 97 people have been arrested as part of the Broadway Corridor Project: 77 men and 20 women.
