August 29, 2018 - 2:58 pm

Multiple people were robbed throughout Wichita during a three-hour-long crime spree.

Victims described being robbed at gunpoint by either one, two, or three suspects, who drove away in a dark-colored SUV; the suspects got away with electronics, credit cards, jewelry, and cash.

It all started late Tuesday night; there were two robberies in Old Town near Douglas & Rock Island, two in S. Wichita near Pawnee & Broadway, and another near Douglas & Hillside in E. Wichita. A final robbery took place at about 3:00 a.m. Wednesday, and the two victims, a woman and man, flagged down a police officer for help at Kellogg & Hydraulic.

The vehicle belonging to the suspects was located near Douglas & Hydraulic, but sped away from officers, leading to a chase. The pursuit came to an end north of Kellogg & Grove, on E. Waterman Street. In the car, police located a CO2 air gun, and stolen property belonging to multiple victims.

The car contained three men, all in their 20s; they were all taken into custody.
