Cuddlers wanted at Kansas Humane Society

January 19, 2019 - 4:08 am

The Kansas Humane Society is looking for cuddlers.

Ericka Goering is the Humane Society's director of marketing. She says that volunteers are extremely important to the organization. Volunteers do everything from laundry, to walking the dogs, to playing with kittens and to administrative help.

Goering says that there are opportunities available between 6:45 am and 6:45 pm for people who would like to help at the shelter. The Kansas Humane Society tends to see an increase in animal population toward the spring with an influx of puppies and kittens and additional volunteers are needed to help with that.
