Deaths of Kansas man, woman considered murder-suicide

Bodies were found on Saturday

Authorities are investigating the death of a man and woman in southeast Kansas as a murder-suicide.

Sheriff's Capt. Mike Westmoreland says Carrie Ensminger, 27, of Emporia, and Toby Farley, 36, of Wellington, were found dead of gunshot wounds Saturday in rural Sumner County.

Investigators say a passing motorist found the bodies in a road.

Westmoreland said the deaths are being investigated as a murder-suicide.

The bodies were taken to the Forensic Science Center in Wichita.

Further details have not been released.
