Flu season "hasn't peaked yet"

Sedgwick County Health Director Adrienne Byrne tells KNSS News the flu season has not peaked yet. And she days it's not too late to get a flu shot. How effective is this year's shot? Byrne says it's too early to tell. She the shot can shorten the duration of your illness.

Byrne says the flu shot is recommended for anyone over the age of six months. And if you catch the flu, stgay home from work or school and rest.

Byrne says three flu-related deaths have been reported in Kansas this year ... none in Sedgwick County. Byrne commented on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show, on KNSS.
