DETROIT, Mich. (KNSS) - Rightfielder David Peralta broke a 6-6 tie with a homerun in the top of the 9th inning on Tuesday, leading the Arizona Diamondback to a 7-6 win at the Detroit Tigers.

Peralta is a former player for the Wichita Wingnuts.

For the game, Peralta was 3-for-5, including his sixth homer of the year, and his 13th double. Peralta is now batting .319 for the season, which places him 9th in the National League.

The starting pitcher for Arizona was former Wichita Wranglers pitcher Zack Greinke, who gave up five runs in 5.2 innings, but those runs were all unearned; Greinke has a 3.00 ERA.
