Four dead in KCK bar shooting

UPDATE: 10:35 a.m.: In a press release this hour, Kansas City, Kansas Police says they are looking for two men in connnection to this morning's deadly shooting that killed four.

Police say their preliminary investigation is revealing that an earlier dispute occurred inside the bar, which lead to the shooting incident.  The suspects were armed with handguns and fled the scene.

Four people have died following an early morning shooting in Kansas City, Kansas.

It happened around 1:30 this morning at the Tequila KC Bar, which is located at 10th and Central, north of I-70 and west of the Missouri River.  A person or persons walked into the private club with around 40 people inside and started shooting.  

KCK Police Officer Thomas Tomasic provided an update from the scene.

"There are four people inside of the bar that are deceased, and there were five others that were transported to area hospitals.  Last I've heard I believe they're all in stable condition," he said. 

Police say the four dead were Hispanic.  The victims were their late 50s, mid-30s and two in their mid-20s. 

Police say they haven't ruled out if one of the suspects was involved in an incident at the bar earlier in the night and then returned.

No one has been arrested in this case.
