GARDEN CITY, Kan. (KNSS) -  A weekend blizzard brought snow to western Kansas and heavy snow damaged the roof of St. Catherine Hospital's Women's Clinic.  KSN News spoke with hospital CEO Scott Taylor who said they don't know the full extent of the damage to the structure or its contents.

"Well, while we know it’s considerable,” said Taylor. “There’s been no formal assessment as to the extent of the damage within the building. We feel relatively certain that all the clinical equipment within the building certainly could have sustained considerable damage.”

Fire officials were still working Tuesday to determine if there is enough structural integrity in the building to allow hospital management in to evaluate or remove the clinic's equipment. A temporary clinic has been set up at St. Catherine's Emergency Department.
