Kansas gas prices went up last week and Jennifer Haugh with AAA Kansas doesn't think that's the end of rising prices. Triple-A reports demand is increasing and the supply is tightening, indicating an increase before the end of the summer.  Haugh says Kansas is also doing worse when compared with other states, but still better than average.

"We fell one more spot, so we are at number 12 for the least expensive gas in the nation," said Haugh.  "We are at $2.68 for an average in Kansas."

The average in Wichita early Wednesday is $2.63 a gallon.
