Kansas Humane Society and WAAL team up to host cat event

February 23, 2019 - 3:41 am

The Wichita Animal Action League and Kansas Humane Society are teaming up to host a free cat spay and neuter event.

The first sixty felines will be offered free spay and neuter surgery, as well as a free microchip and rabies shot.

The event will be held at the Kansas Humane Society, located at K-96 and Hillside, from 7-9 a.m. today and tomorrow morning.

Organizers ask that the cat must be in a carrier and say that feral cats are not allowed.

You will be able to pick your cat up on the same day.
