Latest on a body found last weekend
WPD unable to ID man

Late Monday afternoon, the Wichita Police department released a statement concerning a body that was found over the weekend.
An unidentified man was found dead Saturday morning underneath a bridge in the area of Greenway and Wassall streets, south of Pawnee and Broadway in south Wichita.
WPD was not able to identify the body due to its stage of decomposition. Officials do not believe the death to be suspicious. A cause of death will be determined by the Coroner’s Office.
