Maize police release new information on Kendra Nystrom case

Woman missing since May 2017

Police officials in Maize have released new information regarding missing woman Kendra Nystrom. 

She's been missing since May 4, 2017, after leaving the home of her parents in the 12000 block of West 29th Street North along with her dog, Frankie. 

Recently, Texas EquuSearch conducted a search, and detectives said clothing was found on a tree near Cowskin Creek. The clothing had Kendra's DNA; her body has not been found.

The detective in the case said drowning is a possibility. Cowskin Creek was flooded the day Kendra was last seen; the article of clothing was found not too far from the home. 

The Sedgwick County Regional Forensics Center is still working on the case.
