Man arrested in Riley County wanted for attempted murder in Wichita

On Feb. 6th, Wichita Police responded to a shooting in the 2400 block of South Glendale.  A 21-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital in serious condition. 

According to a media release from the Riley County Police Department officers responded Monday to a residence in Manhattan before 9 a.m. Officers arrested 25-year-old Jeffrey Porter of Wilsey, Kan.  Porter was wanted on a $250,000 Sedgwick County warrant for attempted homicide and a no bond Harvey County warrant for probation violation.
