Man drowns in northeast Wichita pond

Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a northeast Wichita pond.
Police were called around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday afternoon to a submersion in the 3200 block of north Toben. That's near K-96 and Web Road behind Candlewood Suites and next to Menards.
Investigators say they believe the man, 70, was fishing, and fell into the pond.
The man's name has not been released.
