Wichita man becomes city's 32nd homicide victim

Wichita police are searching for clues to an aggrevated assault that occured sometime overnite near Pawnee and Rock. 

Captain Brent Allred says just before 2:30 Tuesday morning  a neighbor heard loud noises and went outside to investigate and found a man lying in his driveway. He then called 9-1-1.

Wichita Police Captain Brent Allred says police initially responded to assist with an unknown EMS call in the 8500 block of East Parkmont. 

Upon arrival, the discovered a 31 year-old man who had multiple gunshot wounds lying in his driveway. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition and has since died from his injuries.

He has been identified as Robert Junior of Wichita.

Captain Allred says investigators do not believe this is a random incident and asks anyone with information to call detectives at 268-4407, Crimestoppers at 267-2111, or the "See Something-Say Something" line at 519-2282.
