21-year-old Israel Norwood of Wichita suffered a gunshot wound and died. Police Lt. Christian Cory from the domestic-violence section says information on the shooting has been hard to come by.

Norwood was driven to the hospital in a 2007 gray Chevy Impala early Sunday evening; he died from his injuries.

Two of Norwood's younger brothers were in the car with him -- an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old. The 18-year-old ran from the hospital, but was soon located.

Police say both brothers and other family-members have been uncooperative with detectives, causing the investigation to stall.
