Cowley County Newscow has announced that long-time radio DJ and Cowley County Broadcasting and KSOK radio station co-owner Marty Mutti has passed away at the age of 53.

Mutti had a medical emergency at his Ark City home early Saturday morning.

Attempts by Emergency crews to resuscitate Mutti were unsuccessful.

Shane Farley, KSOK morning show co-host and the station’s director of operations, said that many people knew and loved Marty. His death leaves a void at KSOK that will never fully be filled.

Family members plan to hold a public celebration of his life at a later date.
