Men's Hoops: WSU & KU both climb in national rankings

The Wichita State and Kansas men's basketball teams both moved up two spots this week in the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls.

Kansas (10-2) moved up two spots in both polls, and the Jayhawks are now ranked #3 in the nation; KU is receiving one first-place vote among the 32 in the Coaches poll, and one first-place vote among 65 in the A.P. poll. KU vaulted over Ohio State and Louisville in this week's rankings.

Wichita State (11-1) also moved up two spots in both polls; WSU is now ranked #23 in the Coaches poll, and ranked for the first time this season in the A.P. poll at 24th. Wichita State is the only new team this week to enter the A.P. poll. The Shockers jumped over Arizona and Washington from the Pac-10 Conference in this week's rankings.

Gonzaga (13-1) remains ranked #1 in both polls, with Duke (11-1) at #2.

All WSU games are heard live on 103.7 KEYN.

All KU games are heard live on Sports Radio KFH 1240 AM, 98.7FM.
