During a 36-hour period beginning Sunday afternoon, four businesses in Wichita have been robbed by a lone suspect with a gun. At about 9:00 p.m. Monday, an armed man robbed Pete's Liquor store near Harry & Waco in S. Wichita. The suspect displayed a handgun, stealing money and alcohol.

Police describe the suspect in the liquor store robbery as a black male in his 30s, with a medium build and black facial hair, wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, and a ballcap with a blue bill. The descriptions of the suspects in all these cases are somewhat similar, and investigators are trying to determine if any or all of these robberies might be connected.

About six hours after the liquor store robbery, a suspect robbed the Quik Trip not too far away at Harry & Seneca.
