Court documents highlighting new details surrounding the December 9 fatal shooting of 45-year old Randy Gibson from Wichita have been released.

Wichita police were called to the 2200 block of Parkridge, where they found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. The man said that someone else had been shot and presumed dead at a residence close by.

Upon arrival at the second residence, WPD saw a white man wearing a jacket run from the home and towards a vehicle parked outside. That man was identified as Jeremiah Mork, and was taken into custody without incident.

Randy Gibson's body was found inside the home. He had multiple gunshot wounds to the back and groin.  A woman living in the home advised that there had been a confrontation between him and Mork and that she heard shots fired while Gibson and his friends were retrieving some belongings. Both of Gibson's friends suffered gunshot wounds to the legs.

Jeremiah Mork has been charged with first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated battery, criminal possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and a parole violation.
