A transaction on New Year's Day didn't quite go so well for a Wichita man; it turned into a highway robbery and a shooting.

It happened early Monday afternoon in the 1600 block of N. Emporia, where the 19-year-old man was selling a pair of shoes on the OfferUp app. The victim says two unknown men in their 20s or 30s arrived in a gray Chevy Impala; he says during the transaction, one of the suspects pulled out a firearm, pointing it directly at him.

During a struggle, the victim got shot one time in his shoulder; he was hospitalized, and has since been released.

Police believe they might have two potential suspects identified in this case, and they are looking for them.
