There will be no felony charges filed against a driver involved in a fatal accident in west Wichita.  Sedgwick County District Attorney Marc Bennett says his office found insufficient evidence to file charges in the February crash that killed a woman and injured her mother.

Police say Karen Capps, 59, and her mother, Jaunita Capps, 86, had just left Resthaven cemetery and were stopped on the side of a road as a funeral procession was passing by, when they were hit by a Pizza Hut minivan driven by Courtney Clodfelter, 31.

The impact pushed the women's vehicle into an electric pole.  Capps was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Wichita Eagle reports that Clodfelter, could still face traffic-related charges.
