The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude 3.1 earthquake occurred at about 11:09 Monday morning in Oklahoma.

The quake was centered about a mile north of Quinton, which is 123 miles southeast of Oklahoma City at a depth of about 3 miles.

Geologists say no damage was reported as damage rarely occurs with tremblors less than magnitude 4.0.
