One man dead after motorcycle accident in Cowley County
It happened in Arkansas City Monday afternoon

A man died Monday afternoon after a traffic accident in Arkansas City. It happened at U.S. 77 and Madison after 3:30 p.m.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol a pickup turning north was struck by a westbound motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle, 66-year-old James Jones of Arkansas City was taken to the nearby South Central Regional Medical Center, where he died.
The KHP report says no one else was injured in the crash.
