Police in McPherson identified a man who was found shot in a mobile home park Monday morning. In a new release Police Chief Robert McClarty said the victim has been identified as 22-year-old Jordan Krell of Canton, Kan.

Chief McClarty said officers were dispatched to a call of shots fired before 12:30 a.m. Monday at the Mustang Mobile Home Park. Upon arrival they found Krell lying in an empty lot, unconscious and unresponsive. Krell was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound.

A 17-year-old McPherson man has been arrested on charges of first-degree murder, burglary, theft, and possession of stolen property. Because he is a minor, the suspect was booked into a juvenile detention facility.
