Police identify man who died in weekend shooting

The Wichita Police Department has identified a man who was shot and killed Saturday.

It happened in the 2700 block of South Roosevelt around 7:30 a.m.

Police say an individual called 911 and reported seeing a bleeding man in a car. When police arrived, they found 38-year-old Edward Wren inside a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado with multiple gunshot wounds. Wren was pronounced dead at the scene.
