Police:  Wichita aggravated battery investigation continues

The Wichita Police Department (WPD) is investigating an aggravated battery incident that injured a man, 20, with life threatening injuries and man, 21, with non-life threatening injuries from Wichita.

At approximately 12:30 a.m., Monday, officers responded to a shooting in the area of Kellogg and Grove. Upon arrival, officers located a man, 20, who had several gunshot wounds to his body. Also, another man, 21, arrived to an area hospital via a private vehicle with multiple gunshots wounds to his body.

The initial investigation revealed an unknown suspect shot at the victim’s vehicle while on the eastbound lanes of Kellogg. Investigators are still trying to determine what led up to the shooting and are asking for the public’s help. 
This was not a random incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
