Police:  Wichita man arrested on aggravated weapons charge

The Wichita Police Department (WPD) has arrested Dylan Yohe, 23, of Wichita on charges of DUI, driving while revoked, transport open container, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and an aggravated weapons violation. 
Thursday morning at approximately 12:40 a.m., officers who were proactively patrolling the area near W. 21st Street and N. Arkansas Avenue, observed Yohe driving a maroon Dodge Dakota.  Yohe was known by officers to have a revoked driver’s license and conducted a traffic stop at Franklin and Nims.  

During the traffic stop, officers located marijuana, drug paraphernalia, an open liquor bottle, and a knife in the vehicle. 
Additionally, Yohe has previously been arrested and convicted on charges of carrying a concealed firearm, and traffic charges. 
 The investigation is ongoing, and the case will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office.
