Police: Woman struck by vehicle, killed in Topeka

TOPEKA, Kan. — Topeka police say a woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle.
The Topeka Capital-Journal reports that Connie Johnson, 59, was crossing a street Saturday night when she was struck. Lt. Shane Hilton says Johnson was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
An investigation is ongoing.
