Rape suspect arrested after ramming two Hutchinson police cars

A rape suspect was arrested after he rammed into two Hutchinson police cars. It happened around 7:45 a.m. Thursday morning. 

Officers were sent to the Yes Way convenience store in the 1000 block of West 30th Ave. regarding trouble with subject. Police found the suspect, in a tan colored Oldsmobile, was trying to leave the store. The suspect rammed two of their cars before he headed eastbound on 30th Ave. 

Police located the suspect a short time later near 4th and Grandview.  He was taken into custody.

He has been identified as Zachary A. Starlin, 34.  He was arrested on suspicion of rape, aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, aggravated burglary, felony stalking, felony flee and elude and theft.

Starlin was also served with a felony warrant.
