An 18-month-old girl is recovering after being run over by a small pick-up truck in Reno County.
Deputies responded to the report of an injured child around noon Saturday at 20518 south Riverview.
According to the report, the girl's father had asked a 16-year-old friend to move a truck so he could rotate the vehicle's tires. The teenager did not see the child behind the truck and ran into her.
The girl was struck with the rear tire and taken immediately to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment. Soon after, she was transported to Wesley Medical Center for further evaluation.
There is no word on her condition.
