Congressman Ron Estes (R-Kansas), announced Friday $8,606,287 in funding to expand COVID-19 testing at Rural Health Clinics in Kansas. The funding is disbursed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

“Smaller clinics are often the only health care provider for rural communities in Kansas,” said Rep. Estes. “Rural health care has been one of my top priorities in Congress, and I’m glad Kansas providers are receiving the resources they need during this health crisis.”

Rep. Estes voted in support of Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act, which included $225 million for designated Rural Health Clinics.
