The owner of Neighbors restaurant was shot and killed in the driveway of his home in the northwest part of Wichita, near 25th & Amidon.

Investigators believe 55-year-old Chuck Giles left the restaurant near 21st & Amidon, stopped at the grocery store, then went home.

Police Capt.Brent Allred says after 10:00 p.m. Friday, officers were called to the 2100 block of W. Columbine, where the victim had been shot multiple times by handgun and killed.

Investigators believe this was not a random event, and that the victim with money was targeted, with robbery as the motive.

This is Wichita's 15th criminal homicide case of the year.
