Sedgwick County held an auction Tuesday at noon in Park City for 2 tracts of land around the shuttered Wichita Greyhound Park.

The 82 acres of land owned by the county that the Greyhound Park buildings and parking lot sit on were bought by the buildings' owner Phil Ruffin.  The purchase price was $1.6 million.

The second area consisted of 35 acres of Sedgwick County land off of I-135.  Those were bought by Wichita businessman Johnny Stevens, the owner of the nearby Kansas Coliseum LLC.  The price of that land was $150,000.
