Sedgwick County commissioners are going to hold a special meeting Monday afternoon, to decide any further possible action amidst a global coronavirus pandemic.

Commissioner Lacey Cruse says at this meeting, commissioners will be talking about whether to remain the same, or to enact a "stay-at-home" ordinance, or any other further courses of action.

Commission chair Pete Meitzner and County Manager Tom Stolz held a conference call Monday morning with the CEOs of local hospitals.

Monday's special meeting of Sedgwick County commissioners will take place at 4:00 p.m.; it will be available live on Facebook, or Sedgwick County's YouTube Channel.

The meeting is not open to the public; Sedgwick County facilities are closed because of COVID-19 precautions.
