Shooting injures one overnight in Wichita

Police are investigating a shooting early Thursday near downtown Wichita.  According to Wichita Police Lt. Mike Linnehan first responders were called to a parking lot near the Keeper of the Plains, at Central and Nims around 12:50 a.m.  

"We are currently evaluating witness statements that we got from a dozen or so people that were in the parking lot when this happened," said Lt. Linnehan. "We are also looking for any type of surveillance video that might have picked this up."

A 19-year-old male was hospitalized in critical condition, with a wound to the abdomen. Police were looking for a gray, 4-door Cadillac with five male occupants in connection with the shooting.
