Shooting suspect turns himself in at Sedgwick County Jail

Suspect is charged with 5 counts of criminal discharge of a firearm

A 23-year-old Wichita man has been booked on charges related to several shootings in east Wichita including firing at a Wichita Police Department Officer and a WPD patrol vehicle. Trey Williams of Wichita turned himself in Monday at the Sedgwick County Jail. He was booked and charged with five counts of criminal discharge of a firearm, one count of aggravated assault and one count of criminal threat. 

Williams is charged with shooting at a car near 13th and Greenwich on April 3rd, firing at the window of a bank on North Greenwich April 4th, firing at an off duty WPD officer at the Warren East movie theater on April 18th, and shooting an unoccupied WPD truck on April 23rd. There were no injuries reported in any of the incidents.
