At approximately 11:00 p.m. Monday, Wichita police officers responded to an armed robbery call at the Walmart in NewMarket Square, at 21st Street North & Maize Road.
Upon arrival, officers contacted a 24-year-old male employee of Walmart who reported an unknown suspect entered the Walmart, brandished a knife, and demanded money from a 24-year-old female employee.
Money was given to the suspect who then fled out of the store on foot.
