Suspects wanted in west Wichita convenience store robbery

WICHITA, Kan. - Police are looking for two suspects who robbed a west Wichita convenience store. 

Just after 10:30 Friday night, officers responded to an armed robbery call at the Circle K gas station in the 44-hundred block of West Maple. Wichita Police Officer Paul Cruz says that when officers arrived they contacted a 29-year-old employee who stated two male suspects entered the store and demanded cash. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

The suspects got the cash and then left on-foot to the north and were not located. No injuries were reported and the only loss was cash from the store. 

The suspects are described as black males, 5'8" to 5'10" tall with slender builds. Suspect 1 was wearing a black and gray jacket, jeans and black running shoes with a grey t-shirt covering his face. Suspect 2 was wearing a red hoodie, a black mask, dark jeans and bright red shoes. 

Anyone with any information on this crime is asked to call 9-1-1 or CrimeStoppers at 2-6-7  2-1-1-1.
