Teen dies in Stevens County traffic accident
It happened Tuesday afternoon north of Hugoton

A teen driver was killed in Stevens County after a crash Tuesday afternoon. It happened around 3 p.m. on K-25 north of Hugoton.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol an eastbound car on county Road Y did not stop at the stop sign at K-25 and was struck by a semi truck.
The driver of the car, a 17-year-old male from Satanta was pronounced dead at the scene. The 72-year-old driver of the truck was injured and taken to Stevens County Hospital.
