Teen who collided with a handicap van in west Wichita, may have been driving under the influence

Wichita police say seven people were injured after a vehicle driven by a teenager crashed into a van.
It happened around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at St. Louis and Young Street, near West and Central.
Police say it appears that a red car traveling west on St. Louis Street, went through a stop sign and hit the van traveling south on Young Street.
Seven people were taken to the hospital with injuries that ranged from moderate to serious. The driver of the van wasn't transported.
