Three people die in fiery Kansas crash

Three people were killed in a crash Wednesday morning in Ellsworth County. The crash happened on I-70 around 1:00 a.m. near K-14, north of Ellsworth. 

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a Mississippi man was driving a semi westbound and was struck from behind by a pickup truck. The truck veered off of the road into the north ditch and caught on fire.

The driver and two passengers in the truck were killed in the crash. They were all from Illinois. KHP identified the victims of the crash as 32-year-old Reginald Miller, 20-year-old Darrin Stutzman, and 16-year-old Matthew Herschberger. The driver of the semi truck was taken to a hospital to be treated for a possible injury. A passenger in the semi was not injured in the crash.
